Kevlar has many uses and similar to Carbon Fiber is extremely strong and lightweight. This ring is made from Thunderstorm Kevlar (a composite of kevlar with brass wire woven through the fabric) and Recycled Skateboard.
The bentwood process is utilized on the Recycled Skateboard liner. This consists of making a thin veneer (less than 1mm) and steam bending the wood. Using this method, as well as being paired with Thunderstorm Kevlar, allows for not only a much stronger but much lighter ring.
